finishing 8th in Division 5 of the Norfolk League. The league was won
by

to secure the second promotion spot. Highlights of an inconsistent season
for Saints were doubles over Rackheath and Norwich Postal. Monty Montague
was the leading wicket-taker in 1986 snapping up 71
in all games at an average of 16.06.
Names on the team sheets included Ian Smith, Andrew Browning, Keith
Hunt, Ian Grassick, Peter Parsons and Paul Aldous.

Saints marked their return to Division 3 finishing in a disappointing
7th place. Player unavailabilty resulted in the loss of the last 5 games,
culminating in a capitulation to 52 all out at Happisburgh on the last
day of the season. A tough division was won by Gressenhall, with Watton
also going up. Highlight was an innings of 159 by Richard Sowerby which
won a game against Costessey, at Bowthorpe, in thrilling fashion. Keith
Hunt
and Paul Oxbury both topped 750 runs in all matches.
